2014 FCAA TEXAS MOON FILM FEST, JUNE 21ST










                                           




We had another wonderful evening of arts & film at our 2014 Texas Moon Film Fest last Saturday!  We have many people to thank.  We would like to send out  special thanks our President, Jean Pamplin for all her hard work in making this event possible!

What a blast!  Good food, good felllowship, and a good time had by all!  Special thanks to Karl & Nancy Falster of Falster Farm for donating the pig!  Thank you to Linda Bolton, our Royal Raffle Winner for donating the pig back to the FCAA!  Thank you to our President, Jean Pamplin for all your hard work in making this possible!  Thank you to Dodie Tunnel for your decorating expertise & the generous use of your outdoor tables & chairs!

MIKE ZEPEDA

Mike, previously of Mt. Pleasant, now lives in the Houston area.  Before starting his production company, Zapman Productions, Mike had small roles in Fox’s Prison Break & NBC’s Chase.  Along with making films, Mike does deejay work.  For more information on Mr. Zepeda see attachments.

MICHAEL ALLMON

Michael is Mr. Zepeda’s partner, and also has his own production company called DFS Productions.   His company has received several accolades, including:

Best Cinematography: Black Glasses Film Festival-Waco

Best Feature Film-Comedy: Lagniappe Film Festival- Beaumont

Acceptance into Dallas International Film Festival

Mr. Allmon has been making films since 2010.

FCAA'S NEW FUNDRAISER

COCHON DeLAIT CRU-HAWAIIAN ALOHA BUFFET




Chef Chris from the East Texas Chapter of the Texas Chef Association is coordinating our Cochon DeLait Cru- Hawaiian Aloha Buffet at the Cultural Arts Center, 100 Rusk St., June 14, 6p.m.  Our Royal Roasted Porker won, live, by Linda Bolton during our recent raffle has been redonated to the Franklin County Arts Alliance.  This is a Falster Farm heirloom bred pig, raised organically with a daily ration of raw milk. Tickets for buffet $25/person or $40/couple. All you can eat.  Wine available.  Purchase tickets from-FCAA Directors or at Frame Up Fine Arts Gallery or at CAC during business hours. You don’t want to miss this farm to table experience!
