OPENING RECEPTION: LOCAL MEMORIAL EXHIBIT--FRIDAY, SEPT. 13, 2013

We had such an amazing turn out for the Opening Reception of our Local Memorial Exhibit! Thank you to everyone who attended! Thank you Betsy Cook for these fantastic photos!  We would also like to send a special "Thank You!" to the families of Dean Teague, Mozelle Ramsay, and Beverly Brewer for allowing us to display their amazing artwork!

FCAA LIGHT LUNCH RECEPTION KICKS OFF LOCAL ART EXHIBIT THIS FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 13

               

The Franklin County Arts Alliance is hosting a light lunch reception from 11:30am to 12:30pm this Friday, September 13th at the Cultural Arts Center in Mt. Vernon to open a Local Art Exhibit that will include works by Dean Teague, Beverly Brewer, and Mozelle Ramsay.  The exhibit will be available for viewing on Fridays or by appointment from September 13 through October 25th.  The Cultural Arts Center will also be open during Country Fest on Saturday October 12th from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Pat Oertel came up with the idea for this type of an exhibit while in New

Mexico.  She happened to see a Dean Teague painting on display at a

restaurant there and determined the Arts Alliance needed to honor local artists.
